Job Purpose
To deliver high-quality teaching and learning to pupils in Key Stage 1, fostering a strong foundation in literacy, numeracy, and personal development within a nurturing and engaging environment aligned with the Cambridge curriculum.

Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Learning
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Cambridge Primary Curriculum.
• Teach core subjects including English, Mathematics, Science, and Global Perspectives.
• Use a variety of teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
• Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independence.

Assessment & Progress
• Assess, record, and report on pupil progress regularly.
• Use formative and summative assessments to inform teaching.
• Provide constructive feedback to pupils and parents.
• Track learner development and support individual learning plans where necessary.

• Maintain a safe, organised, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Promote positive behaviour in line with the school’s policies.
• Foster social, emotional, and moral development of pupils.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS.
Bachelor’s Degree in Education (Early Years or Primary Education preferred).
• Experience teaching Key Stage 1 (Years 1–2), preferably within a Cambridge or international curriculum.
• Strong understanding of child development and early learning strategies.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) is an added advantage.
